Essex Aviation Group is pleased to announce that it has successfully finalized the acquisition, completion management and final delivery of a new 2019 Bombardier Global 7500 ultra-long-range business jet for one of its New York City-based clients.
The purchaser had partnered with Essex in the past to acquire a dedicated Global 6000 aircraft; the client also utilizes Essex’s ongoing consulting services when evaluating various items concerning their private aircraft. This existing relationship led the client to again retain Essex’s services to manage the acquisition of their second aircraft. The client indicated to Essex that they intended to use the aircraft extensively for their business travel requirements and that the 7,000+ nautical mile range offered by the Global 7500 was very attractive to complete their various long-range international flights non-stop.
Essex combined a list of pre-owned on and off-market aircraft options by working with various manufacturers of ultra-long-range aircraft to evaluate their performance to meet the client’s travel requirements. The search resulted in a unique opportunity to secure a Global 7500 delivery slot that became known to Essex through its industry networking. Along with negotiations of the aircraft purchase agreement with Bombardier, Essex provided on-site representation through the final inspection and acceptance of the aircraft. Essex also supported the client while integrating the aircraft into their current flight department and existing aircraft management company, which required negotiating numerous details, including hangar storage agreements and preparing the aircraft for an immediate entry into service.
As only the second Bombardier Global 7500 customer delivery to date, this project presented an exciting opportunity for Essex Aviation and further confirms its clients’ confidence in its ability to provide expertise in the acquisitions of both new and pre-owned aircraft as a leader in the private aviation space.
