Essex Aviation Proud to Welcome Michael Moore to the Team

December 2, 2019, (Portsmouth, NH) – Essex Aviation Group is proud to announce that Michael J. Moore will be joining us as Executive Vice President to the Essex Aviation consulting and aircraft acquisition team.  We are excited to welcome Mike to the team.

Mike, a seasoned aviation professional, comes to Essex with over 25 years of aircraft management, sales and air charter experience. A graduate of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration; he also served as Manager of Charter Sales for PrivatAir, President and Co-Founder of Infinity Aviation Group and Vice President of Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions at FirstFlight. Most recently, prior to joining the Essex team, Mike held the position of Vice President of Aviation Sales at Meridian Air Charter.

Mike first joined Meridian as the Director of Aviation Sales, a newly created position designed to help build a charter fleet of business aircraft, in 2008. After several years in this role growing Meridian’s charter fleet, as well as successfully serving as company liaison to aircraft owners, he was promoted to Vice President in 2014. As Vice President, he was responsible for managing the long-term growth of the company’s sales department. In that interest, he established a national team of aviation sales professionals responsible for growing sales in diverse areas of the company, including aircraft management, retail charter sales, client development and fuel sales. Mike was also responsible for managing a diverse fleet of business jets based across the United States, along with two fixed-based operations located at Teterboro Airport in Teterboro, NJ, and at Hayward Executive Airport in Hayward, CA.

“I take great pride in working to help each of my clients identify private aviation solutions attuned to their particular needs,” said Mike. “I’ve been very fortunate to have a long and successful career in this industry and joining Essex Aviation Group feels like the next logical step in that trajectory.”

In his new role as Executive Vice President at Essex Aviation, Mike will partner with Essex’s clients in the development and ongoing support of an aviation program to meet their private and business aviation travel requirements.

In his spare time, Mike, who has a private pilot’s license, enjoys flying and public speaking.
