At Essex Aviation Group, we pride ourselves on our professionalism, our adaptability and our commitment to our clients. Even in a year that posed unique challenges, we’ve continued to strive to deliver the best service possible to each and every one of our clients.
This exceptional service extended to the recent completion of a three-year new aircraft acquisition project, during which we successfully finalized the completion, inspection, delivery and final closing of a new Bombardier Global 7500 ultra-long-range business jet for a high net worth, Northeast-based client. Essex was a natural fit for this project, given that we’ve provided similar support for this client for several years.
Essex worked closely with the client to determine which aircraft model would be the best fit for their particular travel needs. Once they had settled on the Global 7500, we quickly set to work and contacted Bombardier to initiate the acquisition. We supported the client throughout the entire acquisition process, including during initial contract negotiations, aircraft specification and design meetings, green aircraft production and completion oversight, and the final acceptance and delivery to the client’s flight department company.
The production and delivery of this aircraft posed several new challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, our long-standing relationship with Bombardier’s Completion Center and senior management enabled us to find unique ways to communicate, collaborate and provide on-site support and management on a regular basis, all while adhering to the various government requirements.
“It’s always an honor to be selected for a project like this,” said Lee Rohde, President and CEO of Essex Aviation. “The challenges we faced during this project pushed our team and our partners at Bombardier to think outside the box, and the fact that we were able to overcome those limitations really proves that we’re willing to go above and beyond to meet our clients’ needs.”
