Essex Aviation Group is excited to announce that it has successfully completed the acquisition, final completion management and delivery of a new Global 6000 white tail aircraft for a New York-based client.
By the time they approached Essex Aviation — at the recommendation of their family office — the client had already thoroughly evaluated the aircraft model they intended to purchase. This enabled Essex to quickly get to work negotiating with Bombardier on the aircraft purchase agreement and the selection of additional optional equipment and cabin interior finish items. During these negotiations, Essex assisted the client in scheduling the aircraft for an important trip, which contributed to their final evaluation and overall decision to acquire the aircraft.
Essex then provided final completion oversight and management to incorporate additional options selected, which included certain modifications to the interior and adding custom exterior paint striping to the aircraft. Once these installations and cosmetic changes were complete, Essex participated in the thorough cold soak delivery test flight and monitored final service needs while preparing for the final presentation, review and acceptance of the aircraft.
On the aircraft management side, Essex Aviation assisted the client with the evaluation of management company candidates by coordinating and attending the presentations of the three final candidates. Once a management company was selected, Essex worked in conjunction with the client’s legal counsel to review and finalize the management company agreements. Essex also assisted the client in contracting a hangar and office space in the Northeast to serve as home base for the aircraft. As a final phase, Essex worked with the management company and the client’s family office and house staff to prepare the aircraft for the owner’s first trip, just three days after the aircraft was delivered.
